Kent Farmhouse

For this special project, the aim is to create a wild country garden that blends seamlessly with the property's rich agricultural history and its beautiful surroundings. The site, with its agricultural roots spanning over 150 years, is being transformed into a naturalistic landscape that supports wildlife and enhances the breathtaking views of undulating meadows and wooded hills.

The design incorporates various features, including a restored farm pond, meadows managed for wildflowers and local orchids, and orchards planted to encourage biodiversity. The former tennis court has been reimagined as a productive vegetable garden, surrounded by a woodland garden filled with edible species. Natural planting around the house, including breezy grasses and flowering perennials, creates a meadow-like atmosphere, while a gravel garden adds a Mediterranean touch with scented plants and herbs.

Currently under construction, this evolving garden is designed to mature over time, and we look forward to seeing how it develops and integrates with its timeless landscape.
