Traditional Country Garden

This project focuses on creating a refined and balanced garden for a newly built home in the heart of Essex. The house, designed in a traditional Edwardian style, is complemented by a garden that blends formal, structured layouts with naturalistic spaces to enhance its surrounding landscape.

The design features a welcoming arrival courtyard, privacy planting along the boundaries, and a thoughtfully planned layout that softens the transition from the house to the garden. A small wildlife pond, contemporary corten steel water features, and a variety of carefully chosen plants ensure year-round vibrancy and harmony with the site.

Key elements of the garden include a glasshouse and raised beds for productive growing, large pots, and an oak pergola with climbing roses and clematis. The space is designed for both enjoyment and practical use, allowing for gardening while maintaining a manageable level of upkeep.
