Contemporary Sussex Estate

Set within 19 acres of pasture, wetland and woodland beside the River Arun, this project is being reimagined as a contemporary family estate. Working alongside Architects Gould Baxter, we are designing a landscape that settles the new house into its setting, improves the arrival sequence and movement across the land, and balances a domestic garden with the practicalities of a working smallholding. The vision combines meadows, water, sculptural trees and low-maintenance planting with accessible paths and spaces for gatherings, play and exploration.
