Went to see my Mum for lunch today. It’s the first time I’ve seen her since October as she’s in Hampshire, a couple of hours away. As we sat in her garden it snowed ❄️ and it was freezing 🥶 Luckily she has a covered garden area with a fire pit so it was doable!
She’s got some of the tallest snakes-head fritillaries I’ve ever seen, about 50cm high!

Tulipa Linifolia also known as the flax-leaved tu

Tulipa Linifolia also known as the flax-leaved tulip. The flowers open almost flat in the spring sun revealing a black inner base. A dwarf specie tulip so perfect for container planting, rockery or front of border as only gets to around 10cm high. This tulip also holds the RHS award of Garden Merit.

Part of a larger garden design. This is the entrance to a large country house. A lake with stepping stones over to a home office. Sorting out parking to complement the house and maximise views. Home offices are increasingly at the top of a lot of my clients lists. Actually looking at building one myself. Even if you’re working from home It’s good to have an office that’s separate from the rest of your house as it’s then far easier to separate work from home. Also good to be able to escape the kids noise!
